This is my classic piece called “The Lake Room” (Sala do Lago), designed by me around 12 years ago. At that time, I used 3ds max 3.1 and V-Ray 0.1 (yes, a pre-alpha release) and had a lot of fun doing it.
So, after all this years, I thought it would be fun to revisit it and see what it would look like with current technology (and expertise). Here is the result!
The Poltrona Frau Ginger armchair was designed by italian designer Roberto Lazzeroni as a complement to the Fred desk. This exclusive model was all done by Douglas Ferreira, the newest addition to my team. Thanks, Douggie!
You can download the model (3ds max & V-Ray) for free as usual. Here and here (mirror).
If you like the model, please share some love in the comments section bellow.
Just wanted to share a new material I’ve made. It’s a common brick complete with all maps one might need. All maps are available in 2 resolutions (3000px and 1000px) for extreme close-ups and far shots alike. Free for all uses. \o/
Just spent a wonderful holiday at a countryside hotel and thought I’d share some of the photos I took of the landscape. One of them is a mix of a few pics put together, making for a 11029×3183 pixel image! And, just for fun, I’m also putting a few other single images (5184×3456). Nothing super pro or anything, just pics I took.
Hope you guys enjoy it!
The complete RAR file is 93MB and can be downloaded simply clicking the pic above.
This time it’s a sofa, based on a free sofa model found at RenderStuff.com. I started playing with it and came up with a more detailed version. All pillows are simulated cloth and the whole model is pretty detailed, suitable even for close shots.
